Lund University was founded in 1666. With eight faculties and a multitude of research centres and specialised research institutes, it is the largest centre for research and higher education in Scandinavia. More than 40,000 students are enrolled at the University, studying any of the 85 educational programmes, eighteen international masters programmes, or the 1,000 individual courses.
