The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) extends a warm welcome to you for your first or another year at ISLK!
The role of the PTA at ISLK is to support the work of the teachers and the school. The main aim is to work closely together with the school, building a strong school community where all children benefit. This might include: fundraising for certain projects, participating in special events along with teachers and pupil, providing communication channels between families and the school, and organising social events. Being a part of an international school where people come and go regularly, the PTA also aims to help new children and their families integrate into the school community.
Everyone has a role to play and actions speak louder than words, so the more people involved the more exciting and successful we can be. It is fine if you have just arrived, or are only staying a year, or if you are staying here for many years. We would appreciate your talents and involvement!

Basketball Match: Thanks
We would like to send a BIG thank you to all the parents who participated at the Basketball Match on Friday. Both sides showed spirit and determination and even though the teachers won, it wasn't an easy victory! We also raised 1,464 SEK from selling refreshments.

Winter Social
Another warm thank you to all the parents, teachers and children who worked so hard to make such a lovely evening. We hope that everyone enjoyed the St. Lucia songs by PYP 6, Danish hot dogs, glögg and cake from us and the PYP auction run by Lalisa Vesterholm and Jennifer Jansson from which we managed to raise 9,600 SEK. Happy New Year
